Taught by Jack Hipple for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This course covers all basic chemical engineering unit operations including stochiometry, mass and energy balances, fluid flow and handling, distillation, absorption, stripping, extraction, chromatography, cooling towers, drying, filtration and centrifugation, solids handling, membranes, and safety/reactive chemicals concepts. Course is designed at the basic level for other professionals and operating personnel who must interface with chemical engineers. Many case studies are included. -
